College Gameday: Army Camouflage Football Uniform Voted Tackiest Thing Ever

West Point, NY - The Defense Fashion Institute, known to many as the DFI, released its annual Defense Fashion Report this week. Among other things, the report highlighted the need to cut down on hideous faux pas in defense fashion, specifically referencing the all camouflage football uniform donned by the West Point Black Knights.

"First of all, um, gross," a spokesperson from the DFI had many choice words to describe the uniform. "It's just so gaudy. I mean camo on the pants, jersey, and helmet? I think I'm going to puke." The report made it clear to annotate that the failure to break up the prevailing camouflage pattern was the leading reason why the uniform was voted as the "tackiest thing ever."

The all camo design was, not surprisingly, a big hit in its respective service which has always had a penchant for unappealing attire. "I think it's cool. It's like we're in combat while playing football, pew pew pew!" a West Point cadet expressed in regard to the uniform.

"I think the report is healthy. It shows we have a lot to improve to give the fans something to cheer about. We're certainly not going to be able to do it by winning many games," a spokesman from the Academy stated.

The DFI will publish its recommendations later this month following the report to ensure that the services all remain en vogue.
